College Reviews: Where can I find them?
Looking for college reviews? Wondering which college to attend? Or, have you attended college already? Which college did you go to? Why did you go there?
If you had to do it all over again, would you go there? Why or why not? What would you recommend to new freshmen who are choosing that school?
It is interesting to think about these questions. Having been in school for several years now and having attended two schools in that time, I would've done things differently. I should've looked for college reviews!
My Story...
In my case, I went to a small business school called LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, UT. I thought that it would be a good option to find employment quickly in my chosen career field while I finish my degree.
I thought that I could just get their one year accounting certificate (which I did) and then finish my bachelors with a good job supporting me. Well, life took a different turn, as it usually does.
I ended up transferring to Weber State University in Ogden, UT and am still studying accounting. Except that I am working at a grocery store and have a family now! I am not really using my accounting certificate.
Plus, it ended up that not all of my credits from LDS Business College transferred (where was this website when I needed it!). I would've just been better going to Weber State to start with.
A few college reviews may have saved me the time and effort put in at the business college.
